Beginning Sunday February 11 and continuing until Sunday April 8, the Alliance High School boy’s soccer coaches will be holding an open gym at the Alliance Middle School for any boy currently in grades five through eleven. Fusbal goals have been purchased and small sided games will be played during these sessions. Boys in grades 9-11 will meet from 3:00 until 4:30 PM each Sunday while boys in grades 5-8 will meet from 4:30 until 6:00 PM. These sessions are open to any boy regardless of experience. Either gym shoes or indoor soccer shoes should be worn.

The Varsity Girls Basketball game vs Canton South this Saturday will start at 1:15pm and the Senior Night festivities will start around 12:30pm. Come support our Aviators!
Tonight girls basketball game has been canceled and rescheduled for Saturday at 12 PM. Senior night festivities will begin around 11:20 AM.

The Rising Freshmen Parent meeting tonight at AHS has been cancelled. We will have the meeting Tuesday, Jan. 23 in the Media Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Strings Spooktacular
The tenth annual Strings Spooktacular, a spooky orchestra concert, will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 7:00pm in the AHS Auditorium. Eighth grade and high school orchestra members will be performing a variety of creepy selections (while wearing costumes, of course!). Please join us - if you dare! Admission to this concert is free, but all souls are invited to bring a canned food item to support the National Honor Society annual canned food drive.

The Senior Cosmetology Class of '18 donated $100 of client services and fundraiser monies to The Stark County UNITED WAY. They were eager to help make a difference in our community!

Congratulations AHS Media Arts Students, winners of 4 awards in the 2017 Philo Festival of Media Arts Video competition. "A Tribute to Dick Elliott" won in the Community Event category; "Red's War" ,featuring the late Red Artino, , in the Documentary category; "Ernie's Barber Shop" in the Interview/Talk Show category; and "The Color Project", featuring Rev. Raymont and Brenda Johnson, in the Religious category. Over 250 entries in 23 categories were submitted by community and school television stations in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky.. Plaques will be presented at the Alliance for Community Media awards in October.
Jessica Pike's English 11 classes studied myths and creates posters to teach the class. Students participated in a hallway Gallery Walk to view the posters and listen to the lessons.
