ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY SCHOLARSHIP: The mission of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.'s National Educational Educational Foundation is to support higher education achievement through scholarships and conduct community education programs and related research to improve individual and community living standards. The Foundation annually provides financial assistance to worthy students pursuing higher education both at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS: This organization is a scholarship management service and a scholarship database for students. Their database is used to find scholarships online and is 100% free for students to use. Click here to look for scholarships

DISCOVER SCHOLARSHIP SEARCH: Discover's college scholarship search tool gives students fast access to over 3 million scholarships. With this tool, students can customize their scholarship search to meet their unique needs. Discover can even e-mail the student a list of the scholarships to select so they can apply when they are ready. Click here to access the website.

THROCKMORTON SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is for students who met these specific requirements: Student must be African American or Native American and must reside within the Northeast Ohio or Western Pennsylvania geographic region, have a copy of birth certificate, attend an educational facility that must be in Northeastern Ohio or Western Pennsylvania, have a copy of current High School/College grades and GPA, have a current financial needs form from the school that documents grants, scholarships and loans being presently received, have a current bill from the school for the next semester/quarter, have a copy of the courses being taken for the next semester/quarter, write a one or more short paragraphs that should state why you should be considered, your future goals, college major/minor, needs, extracurricular activities at school or in the community, and send in final high school transcript (if applying during senior year of high school). Click here for more info.  Or, email april.m.thomas@huntington.com for questions regarding the scholarship.

DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMEN SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is for any young lady in the class of 2018 who is involved in school and/or community activities, has outstanding in academics, leadership, athletics, or the arts.  Click here for the link to the application.

OHIO UNIVERSITY CHEMICAL ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is available through Ohio University for any student interested in chemical engineering who is an Alliance High School graduate. Requirements include admission to Ohio University and acceptance into the Engineering college. Click here for the website to access the website. Next, on that page, click on the “search for scholarship” link. Then, on that page, type in “Iden” and the scholarship will appear.

MENSA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: Based on essay contest. Entry form can be found on: Click here for website. Once on the webpage, Click on "Scholarship Application" link on left side of page. Then click "Determine Eligibility and begin process..." Enter zip code which connects to link for our area. DEADLINE: Depends on which scholarships the student is applying for, please check each scholarship and deadline

THE BEAUTY + WELLNESS SCHOLARSHIP: This $1,000 scholarship is to support the health of college women. Requirements: Must be a graduating high school senior, current college undergraduate, or current graduate student at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical school in the United States, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, and must identify as female. All majors and GPAs are welcome to apply! Click here for the application. The scholarship will be given out quarterly. Deadlines are January 1, March 31, June 30, and September 30 every year.

HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIPS: These national and state scholarships are based on students pursuing a bachelor's degree, who have at least a 2.0 GPA and who need financial assistance for college. Click here for link

CARING.COM SCHOLARSHIP: As the population of older adults continues to grow and life spans lengthen, more and more young people are taking on the role of caregiver for older loved ones. While the exact number of young people taking on this responsibility is not well understood, it’s estimated to be well over 1 million.On top of their demanding caregiving duties, many of these young people are simultaneously pursuing high school, college or graduate-level education. Scholarships for student-caregivers help ease the financial burden faced by these extremely hardworking students. Click here for multiple scholarships. DEADLINE: Depends on which scholarship you are applying for.

COLLEGE BOARD SCHOLARSHIPS: This program was created to help students earn the chance at a scholarship. The program is currently open to class of 2021 students in the United States, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories, regardless of citizenship status. U.S. citizens and residents attending Department of Defense Education Activity schools abroad may also participate. At least half of all scholarships are designated for students whose families earn less than $60,000 per year. Click here for the application website.

ELKS MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP - Based on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Scholarships range from $1,000-$12,500 per year. Download application here. DEADLINE: November 15, 2021

JACK KENT COOKE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP - The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is looking for applicants for their College Scholarship. Requirements include Exceptional academic ability and achievement: Strong academic record, academic awards and honors, and substantive assessments by educators providing confidential recommendations. In addition to GPA and college entrance exam scores, we consider participation in available advanced courses, commitment to learning, and intellectual curiosity; Unmet financial need: Demonstrate unmet financial need/will consider applicants with family income up to $95,000; Persistence: Determination and perseverance in the face of challenges, ability to set and remain focused on goals and to put in the effort needed to meet those goals in the face of obstacles; Leadership: Ability to organize and positively influence others in and out of school (family, religious community, sports, arts, etc.); Service to Others: Purposeful and meaningful commitment to others which may be evidenced by participation in volunteer/community service activities. THE DR. JUAN ANDRADE SCHOLARSHIP: The Dr. Juan Andrade Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders through the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI), is seeking to award up to $1,000 to eligible applicants. This scholarship is open to students enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student, at an accredited four-year or two-year institution in the U.S. The applicant must demonstrate financial need and one parent must be of Hispanic ancestry. DIRK DERRICK CAR & TRUCK ACCIDENT INJURY SCHOLARSHIP: The Dirk Derrick Car & Truck Accident Injury Scholarship is an award for any current or soon-to-be undergrad in the United States who has had his or her life altered due to an injury from a car or truck accident, be it their own injury, that of a loved one, or an influential individual. The Dirk Derrick Scholarship has a brief submission process, and applicants will be judged on their ability to convey the lasting effect an auto accident has had on their life as well as their journey to overcome those challenges. Students applying must submit an essay where you explain, present, inspire, or otherwise convince us as to why you deserve to win this scholarship.There are no conditions or requirements for this essay. FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA SCHOLARSHIPS: The National FFA Organization provides scholarships designed to fit the diversity of our applicants. Scholarships sponsored by businesses and individuals, through the National FFA Foundation, are awarded to support a wide variety of higher education plans and career goals. GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP:The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute and GE seeks to award a $10,000 per year scholarship that is renewable for up to 3 additional years totally $40,000. This scholarship is available to high school seniors who demonstrate a strong sense of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship at school, at the workplace, and in the community. SUPERMONEY SCHOLARSHIP: SuperMoney is excited to announce that we are offering a scholarship to eligible student who are enrolled full-time in high school as a senior or at least part-time in college, graduate, professional, trade school, or coding bootcamp, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, be a permanent resident or a U.S. citizen, upload an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification document, and must provide your written essay. FIFTH THIRD BANK FINANCE ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP: Fifth Third is committed to building financial capacity in the communities we serve. To recognize the efforts of students and teachers committed to financial and entrepreneurship education, Fifth Third will award twenty-eight accomplished students across the country with a $2,500 529 College Savings Gift Card via our scholarship contest. ENGINEERS FOUNDATION OF OHIO SCHOLARSHIP: These scholarships are administered by the Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO), a non-profit educational foundation dedicated to the advancement of engineering education in cooperation with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE). Requirements include 3.0 minimum grade point average (A=4), minimum SAT (Math=600, Reading or Composition=500) or ACT (Math=29, English=25), be a citizen of the U.S. & permanent resident of Ohio, and be a graduating high school senior. EPSILON SIGMA ALPHA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: The ESA Foundation has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships and continues to award numerous scholarships annually. Students do not have to be an ESA member to apply for a scholarship, and the application process is 100% online. Click here for the application website. DEADLINE: February 1, 2022

STOP THE HATE SCHOLARSHIP: Stop the Hate Youth Speak Out celebrates students committed to creating a more accepting, inclusive society. By reflecting on real-life situations and detailing ways to make a positive difference in the world, this next generation of leaders can win big. Stop the Hate is designed to create an appreciation and understanding among people of differing religions, races, cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. By challenging young people to consider the benefits of a more inclusive society, the consequences of intolerance and the role of personal responsibility in effecting change, the contest also reflects Jewish values of responsible citizenship and respect for all humanity. Each year, the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage gives out $100,000 in scholarships, awards and anti-bias education in recognition of 6-12th grade upstanders in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Wayne counties. CLASS OF 2022 BLOOD DRIVE SCHOLARSHIP FOR PRE-MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS STUDENTS - Must have GPA of 2.5 and plan to attend a 2 or 4 yr. college. School, community activities and awards must be attached as well as transcripts and letters of recommendation. See Mrs. Woodruff for deadline and application.

ALLIANCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP - Must have attended one of our elementary schools, including the Early Learning Center for a combo of 3 or more years. GPA of 3.0 or higher. DEADLINE to guidance: March 11, 2022. Click here for application

AHS STUDENT SENATE OUTSTANDING SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP - Five $200 scholarships to a graduating senior planning on attending college or technical school. Applicants must have been a member of Student Senate for at least two years and must have maintained a 3.0 four-year cumulative GPA or higher.. AHS FOUNDATION MEGAN ADELMAN SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is for any senior girl/boy who has lettered in cross country for four years. See Mrs. Morrison in the guidance office for an application. DEADLINE: March 11, 2022
