The AHS Physical Education students were able to enjoy the sunshine last week while fishing at the castle ponds! They discussed safety and casting techniques using two types of rods/reels. Their patience and persistence was as bright as the sunshine.

Zachary Kinser will be attending Walsh University in the fall to study visual communication design and play in the Walsh Band!
While at AHS, he participated in Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Orchestra, Jetsetters Show Choir Band, Key Club and National Honor Society. He also played Soccer and Tennis and was part of the Interactive Media Career Tech program.

Hannah Hoover will be employed full-time at DaVita Dialysis as a Dialysis Technician following graduation!
During her time at AHS, she was a member of the Swim Team, Jobs for Ohio Graduates program, and she has worked at Green Meadows Nursing home since June of 2022.

Ke'Sean Kilgore has a full-time job at SCG Fields lined up following graduation! He was one of the Construction Trade seniors hired by the company to complete the work on the AHS baseball and softball fields this spring.
Along with being in the Construction Trade CTE program, Ke'Sean ran Track and Cross Country, played Basketball and was part of the E-Sports team.

Last week, Alliance High School added a new member to the Career Tech Hall of Fame! Mike Tonges graduated from the Media Arts CTE program in 1975. Throughout his career, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies, every major broadcast and sports network, the White House, and has provided a local television presence for the last 22 years. He has worked on national coverage of political campaigns and conventions, the Indianapolis 500, World Series and NBA Finals. His production company, Image Video in North Canton has won Telly, Addy and other corporate video awards as well as doing Emmy nominated work.
Mr. Tonges is a great representative of what careers are possible through the Alliance CTE programs. We are honored to add him to the CTE Hall of Fame! Congratulations, Mr. Tonges! #RepthatA
