During his time at the camp, he learned about various FBI and CIA careers, took the agent physical fitness test and was able to meet several different agents currently working at the Cleveland office. The Construction Trades Career Tech Program spent some time this spring building platforms for the Alliance Family YMCA! When the Y reached out for assistance, our Construction Trades instructors and students were happy to help. The platforms can be easily moved and allow the Y instructors to have an elevated space to teach classes so the participants can see them to follow along. Great job, Construction Trades! #RepthatA #CaringCitizens

The Caboose in Downtown Alliance has a new look thanks to our Caring Citizens in Steve Cabassa's art classes at Alliance High School! 🧑‍🎨 Last year, the caboose caught fire. As part of the restoration, all the windows were closed up to help prevent vandalism. The caboose is mainly used as a stage now for summer concerts. Rick Baxter, the president of the Alliance Chamber of Commerce, reached out and asked for art students to paint the windows of the caboose so it looked like people are inside dancing. 💃 A group of six students were selected to complete the project They worked really hard and did an amazing job! Lucius Rowser - “If I had to give any kid In highschool some helpful advice I would say try your best to be more sociable. I used to not talk a lot, but as time went on I started to find more friends and it made me more confident as a person. I'm glad I started being kind and talking to everyone because now everyone knows me and I'm more than happy to pass by people and say hello.”
