Recently, a firefighter from our local fire department visited and read to Chelsea Young’s class as part of the Men Making a Difference reading program. Men from the Alliance community visit AES classrooms once a month to read to the students and answer their questions. We love having this program available to our 2nd and 3rd grade Aviators! #RepthatA

Did you know Alliance High School has a graffiti rock? Similar to many college campuses, the rock can be painted by students and staff to celebrate successes, fun events and more throughout the year. The Girls Tennis team painted it yesterday to celebrate being back-to-back EBC champs!

All ACS Bus Drivers spent the morning learning about PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) and ParentSquare!
With PBIS, our drivers learned effective strategies to create a positive and respectful atmosphere on every ride, helping to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
Drivers will soon use ParentSquare to communicate with individual families to keep a transparent and open line of communication the same way teachers do.

This week, visitors from the University of Mount Union met with the 15 seniors eligible for the Investment Alliance Scholarship! The scholarship has been offered to the top 15 students in each graduating class since 2014. It provides the students with full-tuition to Mount Union for four years.
Eight students in the class of 2023 accepted the scholarship!
