Maurices inspires women to look and feel their best – just as they are. They have 1,000 stores across North America and have earned their reputation as a leader in hometown fashion. Not only do they excel in fashion they also take part in many programs to support our community such as donations and food drives. Recently, Maurices raised money for an Alliance Elementary School. Michelle Balderson, principal at Rockhill Elementary, was surprised and thrilled to receive a call from Maurices of Alliance informing her that they raised $100.00 for the school and collected school supplies! Jennifer Lee, store manager explained that they are very involved in community organizations and enjoy giving back to the Alliance community. A few weeks ago Maurices started asking their customers for a $1.00 donation or a school supply donation for Rockhill. This past week Lee and first assistant Elizabeth Garren presented Balderson with a check and a basket of school supplies at Rockhill Elementary. Balderson stated that the money will be used to support the school with educational resources and the school supplies have been distributed among the grade levels. As a company Maurices raised over $100,000 to distribute among school districts across the country. Please support our local Maurice’s!
