JOGS Career Development Conference

On April 12, 2017 the Alliance High School JOG students participated at the annual Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates Career Development Conference. A total of nine students competed against 23 schools/sites in six different competitions, including: Application Techniques, Decision Making, Employability Skills, Public Speaking, Telephone Techniques and a team challenge. Of those six competitions, Alliance placed in four categories!

She’Quez Banks is now qualified to compete at the state level Career Development Conference held in Columbus on May 1, 2017. With minimal preparation, this was the first time the Alliance students had competed under the direction of their career specialist, Abbey Blake. All of the student presented themselves well and represented Alliance City Schools with pride.
