Aviator Weekly - Nov. 4

Alliance Early Learning School

\r\n

Kindergarten students had an opportunity to visit the fire station last week. Students got an up close look at the fire truck and the tools firefighters use. They also got to tour the fire house and were particularly excited to see where the firefighters sleep. After the visit, students in Cindy Gaines’ and Megan Harper's class made fire chief hats and learned about fire safety. Students learned what constitutes an emergency and practiced calling 911.

The opening of the assembly will feature a slideshow of veteran's pictures.  If you would like a veteran's picture included, please email the photo (along with the name and rank/branch) to Joe Beichler at beichlerjo@alliancecityschools.org.  If you are unable to send an electronic image, you may stop by the AHS main office to have a photo scanned. The image will be scanned by one of the main office secretaries and returned to you immediately.  If you have sent in an image for past years' assemblies, it is already included in the slideshow, and there is no need to resend it. Pictures must be received by Nov. 6 to be included in this year's assembly.
