AHS Announcements
YEARBOOKS!
2009-2010 yearbooks are in and can be picked up Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday after school at the concession stand. Yearbooks can still be purchased for $65.00.
Welcome Back!
AHS students begin the 2010-2011 school year this Wednesday, August 25. We welcome you back to classes! We need your Aviator Spirit back in our hallways! Come in ready to learn. See you Wednesday.
Bell Schedule Change for 2010-2011
The bell schedule has changed slightly for the coming school year. Note that the AM bell will ring at 7:17 a.m.. Students may enter the building at this time. Tardy bell will ring at 7:25 when students are expected to be in class and in their seats. The PM dismissal bell will ring at 2:25 p.m.. Students who come to the school for breakfast may enter the cafeteria doors at 7:00 a.m..
AHS Open House
There will be Open House at AHS on September 2, 2010 from 4 pm to 7:30 pm. Parents are welcome to visit the high school.
Labor Day Long Weekend!
Students will be off school on Friday, September 3rd due to teacher inservice and on Monday, September 6th for the Labor Day national holiday. Enjoy the traditional "end of summer" with your friends and families and BE SAFE.
Attendance Policy Reminder
Parents of High School Students: Please be aware that, like last year, students who have been called off by a parent more than eight times ALL SCHOOL YEAR need to have a doctor's medical excuse for subsequent absences to be excused. Excessive absences may result in the teacher not giving make up work or allowing students to make up work or tests that were missed on unexcused days, possibly effecting course grades.
